X-TEL's Symbian OS development team was established to advance the growing need for custom applications based on the Symbian OS environment. Applications can be designed based on device features and capabilities. X-TEL's first Symbian based product will take advantage of the powerful engineering test features of the 6630 WCDMA/EDGE phone and includes special data testing applications ranging from automated testing of network performance, data throughput capabilities of WCDMA/EDGE networks as well as unobtrusive voice quality measurements.
