"Xi is a very modular and expandable platform. Our customers benefit from X-TEL's ability to add test interfaces from a variety of manufacturers to their existing systems, which protects their investment and substantially decreases the cost of the tool over its lifetime," said James Richie, CEO, X-TEL Communications. "This is our tenth year in business and our modular platform has been very successful. Operators will have the ability to add UMTS/WCDMA and ITU standardized PESQ voice quality to these same systems." X-TEL's GSM, EDGE and UMTS solutions are used by major operators around the world to test and troubleshoot networks. "Operators reduce their costs and increase productivity of engineers by simultaneously testing voice and data networks across multiple technologies on the same drive test platform during the same drive test," says Richie.
