X-TEL Adds Qualcomm
WCDMA/HSDPA Support
LOMBARD, IL. – June 3, 2005
– X-TEL Communications, Inc., a leading provider of engineering
test systems and services for the wireless industry, announced
the integration of Qualcomm WCDMA chip set mobiles and data cards
for its Xi data collection and analysis software. X-TEL supports
more than 40 different test mobiles and scanners in Xi to test
iDEN, TDMA, CDMA, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA and HSDPA technologies.
The addition of mobiles and data cards using the Qualcomm chip
set for WCDMA and HSDPA expands on X-TEL’s current capabilities
to support Qualcomm based CDMA mobiles.
