The Xi WCDMA/HSDPA is a member of X-TEL's Xi platform. X-TEL's Xi platform for WCDMA/HSDPA supports the latest WCDMA/HSDPA interface technologies, including interfaces based on Qualcomm, Motorola and Nokia. One or multiple scanners may be connected simultaneously for WCDMA and GSM technologies. The WCDMA Scanner includes a variety of user selectable bandwidths (200 kHz or 3.84 MHz), as well as, SCH Scan, CPICH Scan, Top N and PCCPCH Scan. The X-TEL WCDMA scanner allows the user to accurately verify WCDMA coverage, optimize neighbor lists and observe occurrences of scrambling code (pilot) pollution.
Real-time and automated post-processing software enables rapid verification of key WCDMA/HSDPA performance indicators. Handset data and WCDMA scanner measurements are used to identify missing neighbors and pilot pollution. Support for HSDPA is also supported for all frequencies bands based on the Qualcomm 6275 chipset.
X-TEL’s 3G test system provides performance data on both uplink and downlink paths to test GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA 1x, WCDMA and HSDPA networks. X-TEL Xi applications include coverage verification, handover optimization, power control analysis and system performance troubleshooting.
